Those are original equipment Lawson finger buttons, soldered onto that Lawson's 
valve levers. It's a heck of horn to use as a photo prop, so someone involved 
in the photo shoot is likely a real horn player.

I note also that coins or metal discs have been soldered on the tips of the 
valve paddles to extend them, something you see often enough on horns to adapt 
them to a smaller hand size (or correct a maker's miscalculation). The photo 
isn't detailed enough to show the mouthpiece clearly, though.?
