Hi Hans, I didn't fall into any trap at all - I think you have broken your own rule and not read my post properly :-) I said: "I know that your date is too early for this" Nor did I suggest that I thought this instrument had anything to do with the Nazis, I merely cut and pasted the entry in the Wakkypedia which came up on a google of the phrase. I said: "The Wakkypedia gives this account" and added, by way of a pointer to where in the Wakky the quote could be found, "Under the heading, Glossary of nazi Germany:"
