Once the horn is polished, use a micro fibre cloth (household article available in super markets for 2-4 $ double pack) to polish fingerprints away so the shine lasts much much longer. Much better than polishing & polishing & abrasing & abrasing until too much ! ============================================================ =================================================

Hi everyone I need a tip on polishing up an un lacquered horn. Anyone know where I can get what they used to call a "blitz cloth" that works? I use Brasso for extreme cases, but there must be something else out there in this day and age. Incidently, someone turned me on to Hetman ultra slide grease no 9 for your tuning slides, will hold and seal even the loosest slide- stickeyer than pizza!
