A year or so ago I stumbled on Brazilian jazz singer Denise Reis, who
not only sings beautifully and plays a mean guitar, but who also
simulates a trumpet - so well that if you don't see what's happening, it
is about impossible to tell the difference. The example then was Miss

Surely there's a lesson here for us. Makes me think that it might be
possible to leave the horn at home and still play the concert... maybe
better.
