Kaila, Crystal Records recording Dances, Moods and Romances features Meir Rimon playing Lev Kogan's Hassidic Rhapsody and Tfila (Prayer). The Nigunim, which are fun to play, were available on a Crystal LP. The two pieces on the Cornologia CD are arrangements of some of the Nigunim for horn and piano.
The Nigunim are very upbeat, and have a high tessitura. Some of my students have found them to be helpful in developing the high register. Kaddish and Tfila are beautiful, but more serious in tone.
