First of all, please send all your original Kruspe leadpipes to me! G# above the staff has been sharp on pretty much all the pre-war Kruspes I've tried using the 2-3 fingering. 2nd valve locks it in nicely, open for the A. That's with an original pipe. It's anybody's guess with a brand X pipe. If a note is squirrely on a particular horn, it's often because that note wants to be very flat or sharp. You want it to be in tune, so you're trying to play it somplace that it isn't. Try and figure out where the horn wants that note to be and go from there.
