Try Chuck Ward.
 
Chuck used to work for Conn and was one of their designers.
 
I am sure if anyone can make the change, he can.  He also does great valve re 
plating.

Walter wasn't the only person, but I don't know of how many are still around
that can. In the 70s there was a shop in Ft. Lauderdale, Lytle and Schatz
IIRC, that also performed this operation though, sadly, they are no longer
around.
