Hi Kit, Right, I've obviously missed something here and completely and utterly misunderstood what you were saying - the last bit of this thread I looked at was about making horns from ice - I therefore thought you were advocating making them from toffee (and that you were currently working on making a trumpet crook from toffee), hence my comment.
