---------------- You are making this much harder than it needs to be. A horn player ALWAYS reads his part with reference to horn in F. If the part is written out in Eb he transposes. If the part is written out in Bb or H he transposes. If he is playing a single Bb in three valve or four valve or the Sansone model five valve, the reference is still horn in F and he transposes. If he is playing a Schmid triple with high Eb he is still thinking like an F horn player. The only exceptions are Professor Schmutzig who passed away several months ago and Prof I.M.G. who no one is really sure what is going to happen.
