Dr. Matlock's post: "We were doing 'The First Day of Spring,' an especially sappy arrangement, when I noticed that I could hum the theme to The Flintstone's along with it." jogged a memory. Any jazzers please correct me on this, but there is a standard set of changes called rhythm changes (from, you guessed it, "I Got Rhythm"), and the Flintstones theme uses them. That's how I was taught to recognize rhythm changes - see if you can sing about Fred and buddies along with the music. Lisa Taylor
