Hello everyone, First of all thank you for putting me as one of voting member of HOT.
My name is Emir Hartato, born and live in Bogor, work in Jakarta, Indonesia. I got involved with HOT since my 3rd year of my study in Department of Geography University of Indonesia (that's 2012) as an intern for Community Mapping Pilot with Kate Chapman and Jeff Haack. I would never expect things are going to be such an amazing experience for me. Before I joined HOT, I never have any idea about OpenStreetMap and open source software for geospatial. My department was kind of commercial minded as they're teaching their students using commercial software but since HOT came in, it starts to change. People have more awareness that there are free maps and free open source software for geospatial. And I'm glad I become part of this movement because I can learn things that I couldn't get in my study. My work with HOT also very broad. Some of them are: 1. Maintaining communities and remote assistance through social media, 2. Leading OSM/QGIS/InaSAFE training, developing training materials and curriculum for Scenario Development for Contingency Planning (available here http://inasafe.org and for development version is here http://test.inasafe.org), 3.
