Some remarks: * New users often expect immediate answers, or just ask a question and leave (like you would on a help site, which mails you about answers). It's best to warn them to leave the page open as long as possible (until they got an answer) * After the sencentce "Alternatively, use the IRC client of your choice", I'd mention the parameters: server is irc.oftc.net, channel is #hot. * The user-friendlyness of IRC depends a lot on the client. I don't find the osm standard IRC client very pretty, which may scare away people. It might be worth to try some others like https://kiwiirc.com/client/irc.oftc.net/hot (though that should probably be changed at the TM level)
