Hi everybody

As you know, the little group of OpenStreetMap México is leading the
compilation of data to create projects with HOT team and try to coordinate
data integration with local authorities, and data creation in damaged
villages and town.
We just had today a call with the *Estrategia Digital Nacional (National
Digital Strategy -federal office for data and technologies) *where they
asked us orientations to create the better data on the field, in a good
format, and useful directly in OSM or compatible with OSM.
Considering the context: town totally destroyed, no access to prints, very
low capacity for using apps, few and dispersed staff, from a lot of
different institutions, we ask you to share all your experience on this
theme.

What have been used in other big disasters to localize destroyed buildings,
and local community resources (shelters, houses that share their services,
kitchen, etc..)

(1) They could help with some drone images (can you help with orientations
to realize the images in the correct format and integrate it to Tasking
Manager?

(2) Field Apps/tools we oversee are:
- MapsMe, but it accepts only some types of points
- twitter with precise ubication and some categories described in the text

We think OSMand is not friendly enough to be used in the field.

And we think suggesting them to involve citizen, institutions/government
local staffs, and reporter/ journalists to create data through these
different channels.

Please, any orientation on proved ways to produce the better information in
the worst conditions, are very welcome.

Thank you in advance
