*Length of Assignment: 3-6 months*
*PROJECT DESCRIPTION: *
Perform engineering and operational functions required to maintain and
optimize enterprise *BlackBerry infrastructure:*
1) Systems Administration of BlackBerry handheld devices, including the
updating of device OS, wireless deployment of applications, and ongoing
maintenance of BES IT Policy.
2) Ability to make recommendations on future environment enhancements,
including device and mobile application certification, as well as related
procurement and reporting functionality.
*The following skills have also been identified as necessary for success in
this role:*
1. BlackBerry Server infrastructure including:
. Wireless software distribution and application control policy
1 IT Policy configuration and administration
2 Device activation and server troubleshooting
2. BlackBerry device hardware and software, including
. Desktop/Device manager administration and support
1 Device OS support, including updates
2 Advanced device hardware/software support
*REQUIRED SKILLS: *
Software/hardware product life cycle development and implementation
Microsoft *Windows 2000, Vista and Office '03*
Proficient in *Windows/Active Directory including:*
*Domain & Local Accounts *
1 Domain & cross-domain authentication
Proficient in Windows fundamentals including:
. File system structures and NTFS Permissions Registry structures
Proficient in Macrovision/WISE packaging, SMS 2003 console for creating and
maintaining software advertisements, and in development of sw packages using
Macrovision Installshield AdminStudio - a.k.a. FlexNet (including roduct
development, testing and support documentation)
Root Cause analysis
Test plan development and execution
BlackBerry Enterprise Server experience Senior Third level BlackBerry device
support and L3 Problem solving and troubleshooting skills of new and
existing Desktop client products.
*DESIRED SKILLS: *
Outlook/Exchange troubleshooting experience
