I really appreciate for your time and help.** * * *Technology Consultant (Tech Lead)* Job Title: Technology Consultant Location: Detroit, MI Desired Start Date: 9/15/2008 Estimated End Date: 2/6/2009 *Technical Consultant – Consulting experience with Commercial Off-the-shelf Web applications with moderate-to-heavy Integration* - The Technical Consultant is responsible for work stream management with primary responsibilities including: - Leading our implementation team to a technical vision and plan for a successful web applications implementation. - Interaction with senior client leadership to establish project goals, execute against plan and identify and manage issues and risks. - Leadership of all technical planning and architecture tasks, including configuration management, software design and development, application integration, data migration, data base monitoring and certification activities. - Project technical execution including planning, technical leadership, deliverable preparation and review, schedule monitoring, and risk/issue management. - Actively building and maintaining company brand as a leading healthcare organization in Michigan. *Requirements for Technical Consultant (Tech Lead) Software Implementation:* 10+ years of professional experience in private/public sector in consulting with system implementation is required. - Proven record managing the technical tasks of deploying a consumer facing web application which includes role based access to internal and external stakeholders. - Technical planning, design and architecture, including actively engaging with Enterprise Architecture, network and technical standards teams within the organization - Hands-on experience managing application hosting environments (development, test, production, etc.), configuration management, redundancy, performance testing and defect management and resolution - Knowledge of clustered applications and multiple back-end integration environment is preferred - Knowledge of data mapping and system integration - Experience with data migration from legacy systems - Experience in the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with extensive knowledge of implementing Java based applications using RUP and Hybrid methodologies for extensions and or moderate to heavy integration layers to COTS products required - Expertise in all elements of test design and management, including unit testing, regression testing, performance/load testing, security testing and user acceptance testing - Knowledge and experience with application security requirements and HIPAA guidelines - Expertise in the following technologies is required: · Strong experience developing reusable software in Java Enterprise Edition · Strong experience with EJB and server-side Java · Strong experience with application servers, especially IBM WebSphere · Strong experience with Web Services and SOA architectures · Strong knowledge of development in both Java and Unix environments · Strong relational database design skills · Strong analytical and problem solving skills · Strong communication and teaming skills · Experience with Java Struts is desirable · Experience with XML and related technologies desirable · Experience with the RUP process desirable · Experience with Oracle and SQLServer desirable - Possesses superior client relationship skills - Exceptional written and verbal communications skills - Problem solver, Self starter, team player - Experience in developing project plans in MS Project and resource loading based on standard RUP/Hybrid phases is a unique plus and is a must have.
