Sr. Business Project Manager PHEONIX, AZ Description Seeking a senior-level Business Project Manager (non-technical) to join their team for a contract assignment with a leading financial services provider. Position requires outstanding oral/written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, facilitation, project management, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills. Intimate knowledge of various business areas/deliverables preferred. Knowledge of Rational Unified Process methodology or iterative development methodologies will be useful. Expert knowledge of MS Project, Excel, MS Word and Visio Drawing tool along with general familiarity with Outlook and other MS Office applications is also required. This senior project manager position supports critical projects that make up the project portfolio in corporate retirement services. He/She will manage multiple projects of varying sizes and complexity to successful completion and will lead project teams through the project lifecycle: defining business objectives, scope and requirements; partnering with Technology to ensure understanding of business needs and tracking development; preparing for and executing testing cycles; and ensuring successful implementation of system changes. In addition, he/she will work with the business to define new or changing processes required to support the projects' goals, development and execute client and internal communication and training plans, manage the budgets for the projects, report status to Senior Management, track and resolve project issues. ***Please make note of my new email address thanks!
