Intro to Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) 7/8/09 6:00 PM Baylor College Of Medicine, J P McGovern Bldg., Houston, Texas 77021
ColdFusion 9 (formerly code-named Centaur) will introduce a host of very powerful new features for quickly developing enterprise web applications. One of the most-discussed, and perhaps the most significant, is built-in Hibernate functionality. Hibernate is "a powerful, high performance object/relational persistence and query service". What it means for ColdFusion developers is the ability to develop enterprise apps even faster, while writing much less SQL. Do NOT miss this opportunity to get a head start on the technology that WILL be shaping the applications you write in the future! This new meeting location is in the P C McGovern building, located outside the actual Medical Center complex. Parking is free after 5:30 in front of the loading dock. Please use the West entrance on Grand Blvd. where you will also see the loading dock. Seth PS: There will be a working demo running on CF9! PPS: Do you know someone who is interested in building web apps? Do me a favor and forward this to them! :) --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the "Houston ColdFusion Users' Group" discussion list.
