The 2009 Houston TechFest will be on October 9,2010. We are looking for speakers on a range of topics in Net, Java, Sharepoint, SQL Server and any other technology of current interest.
If you would like to speak please send me an email with an abstract of the topic your presentation(s) Send the abstract, a bio (including picture), and your polo shirt size to <mailto:[email protected]> dan AT slinestop.com (Please put Techfest in the subject line) If you need to speak at a specific time or have some other special consideration just let me know. We are going to have "Ask the Experts" sessions during lunch If you would like to be involved in one of these please note that. Sessions this year will be 65 - 75 minutes long with a 10 minute break between each. We will have blank speaker evaluation forms in each room so that you can get feedback from your sessions and have them returned to you right there. They can also be returned to the ticket booth and we will get them to you. If there are specific questions that you would like to see on here let me know. They are looking to finalize the speaker list by early summer, so please email me by June 1st. The Hilton hotel across the street has a limited number of rooms which available for $99. There are also other hotels near Hobby airport which is the closest airport to the Techfest site. Feel free to share this information with any other speakers you know who might be interested in presenting.
