Baker Botts L.L.P., a large international law firm, seeks an experienced Senior Developer, Practice Support for a three to six-month contract that may become a full-time position. This is a firmwide position, resident in our Houston office, and is responsible for the development, deployment and maintenance of our Client Extranets, Microsoft Access, and SQL databases in support of litigated or arbitrated matters. This position also develops and supports Litigation Support applicatons (Summation, ProLaw, Project Tracking) and databases. Required experience includes development in Adobe Cold Fusion, Blue Dragon.NET, and SharePoint applications, Javascript/JQuery, CSS/HTML, MS Access/Visual Basic/Visual Basic for Applications; Microsoft Transact SQL, and Windows Internet Information Services (IIS) Web Server Management (ability to set up websites).
