Job Description: We are seeking a Web Application Developer for a regular, full-time position in Houston TX 77081. Applicant will maintain existing ColdFusion infrastructure and develop/enhance business-to-business, as well as internal efficiency focused applications using object-oriented methodologies and reusable components approach.
Responsibilities: • Report to and work under the direction of the Director of Information Technology • Develop solutions primarily using ColdFusion on MSSQL/Windows stack • Responsible for confirming requirements, developing and testing client websites, and managing product deliverables to targeted release dates • Assist in creating ad-hoc reports and data transfer processes for our clients • Contribute creative ideas to support continuous improvement and processing • Perform technical support backup-role, requiring occasional answering of client calls during business hours (may include weekends) • Occasional travel to assist at events may be requested Job Requirements: • Experience in data driven web development, specifically ColdFusion w/ MSSQL as a data backend • Dedicated, client-focused, proactive self-finisher will ensure a successful fit in our corporate culture • Bachelor’s degree or significant work toward a degree in Computer Science or related fields • Past experience of web technologies that include HTML, DHTML, XML, AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, Regular Expressions • Development experience with PHP and MySQL as well as Flex, Flash, .NET, and Java a plus • Corporate project experience • Able to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines • Ability to multi-task on various projects at the same time -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "Houston ColdFusion Users' Group" discussion list.
