Works with Web Design/programmer specialists and project teams to design and implement innovative and engaging patient web applications ensuring visual effectiveness, highest quality and accessibility for the patient experience. Responsible for programming and developing/modifying the e-PHDB web application. Coordinate with database team and EMR team and other teams to complete all required tasks. Need to keep the customers and project manager up to date on all tasks. Need to have good communicate skills Other duties as assigned SKILLS REQUIRED 7+years Web Application Development (Cold Fusion) Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills Reporting, Status Updates SKILLS PREFERRED Experience with the design and implementation of Oracle relational database IT experience in an academic healthcare setting DELIVERABLES Programming the result of all gap analysis requirements questions between the e-PHDB and Structured Clinical Documentation (SCD). All paper-PHDB questions are included in the e-PHDB. All questions are programmed / added to the e-PHDB web application and the Oracle database tables. Modify Login: Patients can login through the main login screen at and view and edit their data that was recently entered into the e-PHDB. Gender Module: All center specific form and gender specific questions are added to the gender module. The gender module is tested and approved by identified resources prior to testing by clinicians in each center. EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer information systems, software engineering, management information systems, healthcare, or related field. An equivalent combination education and demonstrable relevant work experience may be substituted for Bachelor's Degree. Skill sets applicable for substitution include web site and interactive web application development including database and external application interfaces. Documentation and validation of work history includes, but is not limited to, web site, database, and application code walk-through. PERFORMANCE CRITERIA Completes programming the result of all gap analysis requirements questions between the e-PHDB and Structured Clinical Documentation (SCD) on time. Completes programming of all paper-PHDB questions that are included in the e-PHDB web application before the due date. Programs all questions are programmed / added to the e-PHDB web application and the Oracle database tables before the due date. Modifies e-PHDB Login so that patients can login through the main login screen at and view and edit their data that was recently entered into the e-PHDB before the due date. Programs Gender Module so that all center specific forms and gender specific questions are added to the gender module. Takes initiative and ask questions and communicate effectively and efficiently to complete his or her assigned tasks on time. Provides weekly updates to project manager and manager. Completes new or unexpected tasks related to the e-PHDB as assigned.
