>From looking a the documentation it looks like there is a way to use a backup >feature that may be helpful in the database synchronization. There is an example that runs a backup without a read lock. http://www.sqlite.org/backup.html Look for the heading: Example 2: Online Backup of a Running Database Here is part of the description: "If the source database is not an in-memory database, and the write is performed from within the same process as the backup operation and uses the same database handle (pDb), then the destination database (the one opened using connection pFile) is automatically updated along with the source."
