Our next meeting will be a social/networking meeting, or a "BeerFUG" as we like to call it. I had planned to make the process democratic, and have a survey for location, but since time snuck up on me, I've made an executive decision. (Decisive leaders are not great, merely rushed.)
We'll be having it at The Stag's Head Pub, near Richmond and Shepherd. This place has an incredible drink selection, whether your tastes are brewed, fermented, distilled, or single malt. Wednesdays are "St. Arnold Wednesdays" with specials on the local brew and wings. They've been voted best bar food in Texas, but they have a pretty big "normal food" menu as well. I can't speak to the ambience, but I've heard good things. Final winning move: they're running ColdFusion! (http://www.stagsheadpub.com/index.cfm?area=menu) This meeting will be August 15, 6:30pm.
