Our next two meetings are scheduled for September 12 and October 10.

Thoughts as to what we should cover? I'd like to see some mix of advanced
topics and basics/best practices. Also, we don't have to stick specifically to
CF, in the sense that there's a lot of complimentary technologies.

Some ideas:

- FW/1 2.0 (We've covered FW/1 before, but 2.0 changed a few things)
- jQuery
- Backbone.js (and/or other MVC Javascript frameworks, like Angular.js)
- Mobile development (including detection, and likely focusing on jQuery mobile)
- New features in CF 10 (not an overview, but focusing on a specific topic,
like Charting, the new scheduler, closures, etc)
- Testing with MX Unit (and possibly Selenium)
- NoSQL (likely focusing on MongoDB)
- Twitter Bootstrap
- Using Git
- Getting started with open source (contributing to other projects as well as
starting your own, focusing on GitHub)
- REST APIs in ColdFusion (using either CF10 or projects like Taffy, ColdBox
Relax, etc)
- Playing nice with others: integrating ColdFusion into other projects in the
enterprise (writing easily consumed services using XML/JSON and "ColdFusion as
a service")

I'll put these up on houcfug.org as a survey, but I wanted to give a chance for
brainstorming if anyone has suggestions.

Also, if any of you would like to give a talk, either an hour long or a ten
minute talk on a a single tag or function, please let me know.
