Billy Cravens [email protected] While this position is remote, the company is based in California, and their Fulfillment Center is here in Louisville, KY. They are known for leveraging technology in interesting ways. For instance, they built a system to run their fulfillment center off of iPads and were able to double capacity. They started out selling women's shoes, then handbags and denim. This past spring they launched a children's clothing line and are looking at further product expansion in the near future. At the same time, their customer base has grown quite rapidly and they are expanding globally. The company has been around for about 3-4 years now so still has the feel of a startup but with more stability. Here are the specs: Do you have what it takes? * Strong knowledge of ColdFusion (back-end development) * 3+ years working knowledge of SQL * Work experience interfacing with RESTful web services (with JSON), preferably in a fulfillment center system * Solid coding practices including good documentation, unit testing, and continuous integration * Should work well in team environment utilizing Agile methodology and peer code reviews * Strong sense of ownership and drive Brownie Points: * Familiar with version control systems such as Git/Svn * Familiar with cache / persistent storage mediums such as (Memcached, MongoDB) * Experience with NodeJS and iOS/Objective C, along with experience with other web development languages (PHP, Perl, Ruby, Go, etc.) * Remote work is a possibility for this role if desired Let me know if you have any other questions.
