1) I need a good magnifying glass to see the lines on R800 prints.
2) The more interesting question to me is gamut.

There are targets to download which have all colors, including 
intense blue and red. Try that. I would be interested to learn if 
the Designjet 130 or Epson 4000 can match the R800 blue and red 
intensity. If so, I would buy either one to print large. But I think 
there is a mathematical limit to generate blue and red from CMYK, 
which always results in blue+black or red+black, instead of pure 
blue or pure red. Even though, strangely enough, the R800 blue in a 
auto nozzle check looks purple and the red looks pink, the resulting 
prints can totally match the above mentioned targets. No difference 
screen to print!

I will go to the PMA in Orlando this month, and I will bring these 
targets on a CD. Let' see if any large format printer can do what my 
R800 does and they got a new customer.
