If it is coated paper, the trick is to lick your thumb and forefinger and then
pinch the corner of the paper. The coated side will
be the sticky one, and that is the side you want to print on.

Subject: [HPDesignJet_Printers] HP 90 using matte paper

Some sample paper came with the HP Designjet 90 and one of the papers
is the HP Photo matte paper. I can't figure out which side is the
correct side to print on. It's easy with Satin and gloss to determine
which side you can should print but how do you determine this for
matte paper ? Or doesn't it make any difference ?
