I suspect you may be having some problems with clogged printheads.
If you examine the areas on the print where you are having problems... is
there any hint of banding?

Subject: [HPDesignJet_Printers] P.S.

I've been doing what you suggested, using the profiles for black and
white printing on 130s from the HP website.

Although the quality is a touch better, I still get green in the
lighter areas and magenta in the darker areas.

I've tried all the BW profiles and a couple of the Magenta and Green.

I've complained to HP that their printer is defective, since all the
diagnostica say everything is fine and within warranty and because, to
my knowledge, it's impossible to correct for complementary colors.

Any other suggestions and do you agree with my thinking?

Keep in mind that my experience is 35 years as a professional
commercial photographer and designer and I'm applying the color
technology learned in those fields, I know that the digital world can
be different, but how much?

Michel
