Hi,

I have an HP Officejet T65 connected to a box running slackware 10.2 with a 2.6.13 kernel.
Printing works and the scanner is recognized when using
scanimage -L

Actual scanning fails, however.

The display says "scanning", and the power led starts blinking. It waits like this for half a minute or something, but it doesn't load paper from the tray.

When I try to run scanimage after exporting SANE_DEBUG_DLL=128 i get all this output:

If it is any help, then the scanner does complain when there is no paper in the tray.

scanimage: sane_start: Document feeder out of documents

Your help will be much appreciated,
