Hello,

I installed hplip from the source code on a Debian Sarge. Then I plugged the printer to the usb port, and performed "hp-setup -a".
It seems to work until the test page :

Adding print queue to CUPS:

Here is my /etc/printcap file :
PSC_1600:
        # nom du repertoire de la file d'attente
        :sd=/var/spool/lpd/lp:\
        :mx#0:\
        :sh:\
        :lp=/dev/usb/lp0:\
        :if=/var/spool/lpd/lp/master-filter:

hp-setup advises me to execute 'checkpc -f', and it seems to work (no return value) but it's always the same problem with hpsetup.

Could you advise me ?

Thanks in advance

I put a change into 0.9.11 that addresses at least a portion of this. Please re-try this with 0.9.11 (should be released very soon).

Thanks,

Don
