Aaron

I added the printer manually as you suggested but when running hp-info I
get the following

[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$ hp-info

HP Linux Imaging and Printing System (ver. 0.9.11)
Device Information Utility ver. 3.4

Choose device from probed devices connected on bus(es): net:

Num. Device-URI CUPS printer(s)
---- --------------------------------------------
--------------------------
0 hp:/net/deskjet_6127?ip=10.0.0.38 deskjet_6127
1 hp:/net/HP_LaserJet_2200_Series?ip=10.0.0.31 HP_LaseJet_2200
2 hp:/net/hp_color_LaserJet_3700?ip=10.0.0.48
hp_color_LaserJet_3700

Enter number 0...2 for device (q=quit) ?1

hp:/net/HP_LaserJet_2200_Series?ip=10.0.0.31

[ERROR]: Unable to communicate with device:
hp:/net/HP_LaserJet_2200_Series?ip=10.0.0.31
[ERROR]: Error opening device (Device not found). Exiting.

Also HP Device Manager reports the printer as code:5002 Device is
powered down or unplugged

BTW Is there a compatibility problem with cups 1.2.1 because when i try
to print i get the following error on the cups admin web page

deskjet_6127 "open device failed; will retry in 30 seconds..."
hp_color_LaserJet_3700 "open device failed; will retry in 30 seconds..."
HP_LaseJet_2200 "open device failed; will retry in 30 seconds..."
And nothing is printed

But when adding the 3 printers as cups (ipp) then the printing is
completed.

Regards

Stephanos
