ok, you will find them attached.The files are extemely small,
when they are compressed. So I thought I could mail them to the
list, just in case that others are interested, as
well.

I'll follow your sidenote on how you did the install "correctly"
and report back my findings.

I appreciate that you will put recent ubuntu install hints on
the webpage. I am happy to volunteer as a guinee pig.
