I managed to get it printing selecting lpt as the port, I just loose the hp-toolbox functions. I can live with this. What I would like to get working really is the scanner. This just hangs when you try to get an image. It has always worked in Suse, but never in Ubuntu. Not sure if this was due to changes in distribution, hplip, cups or something else. I dont remember Suse using hplip.
