I successfully installed the HPLIP driver for my HP Deskjet 3325 printer. When I log into CUPS, however, I see two names for the same device, one configured by HP, and the other by HAL:
deskjet-3320--1 hal:///org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/usb_device_3f0_7004_TH33J2G18H4I_if0_printer_TH33J2G18H4I deskjet_3320 hp:/usb/deskjet_3320?serial=TH33J2G18H4I If I try deleting the HAL printer, it shows up when I turn on the printer again.
