If you are going to use the installer, just accept the default of /usr (it may not even ask).

I am fairly new to Linux, and so please excuse this dumb question!

I am running SuSE 10.0 and KDE 3.5.5, and have just bought an HP
Photosmart C4180. I need HPLIP 1.6.10 to use it properly.

Which directory do you recommend that I use for installing HPLIP? I plan
to use the autoinstaller.

Any other advice would be very welcome

Many thanks
