Hello,

I tried nearly anything possible now and in front of me I have about 50 
sheets of paper, printed on both sides with test prints.

Now I really need someone who is able to help here or I'll finally get 
crazy...

If I scan a photo, then the photo looks nice on screen. All colors are 
as they should be.

Then I print that stuff out and the result is *very* dark...

It seems to be impossible to correct this using gamma curves or 
something like this as this also destroys dark parts.

I don't know if the image would look better using Windows, as I don't 
have Windows on any of my PCs.

What could I do now?
