I am having exactly the same problem reported by Ken Dyke on 1/7, Itay Magen on 1/11, and Patrick M. on 1/13. This is the problem concerning having to power down the D4160 after every print job to prevent the printer from hanging up on the next print job.
I am having the problem on Ubuntu 6.06 LTS and on the Ubuntu Herd 2 release (to be Ubuntu 7.04). Does anyone know of any progress on correcting this problem?
