Hi.

I use FC6 with hplip 1.6.12 .

Often, I try to print but nothing goes to the printer. Then I login as root,
and I can see the following line in /var/log/messages :

I also tried to ping the printer and I got this :
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# ping 192.168.0.11

I waited for 5 minutes and still nothing went to printer. Then I decided to
restart CUPS and finally the printer started its job.

Is this a bug ?
Is there anything I can configure to avoid to restart CUPS ? (my girlfriend
won't be very happy if she has to type some command lines before
printing...)
