Hi all I have installed HPLIP ( in fact hpijs ) on my Slack 11.in order to manage a network printer HP C 5180 with CUPS.
Everything works fine except at the beginning ! The first time I send a job to the printer, nothing happens ! I must go to the CUPS management web site enter the root password and simulate to setup the printer in order it awakes and print ! After that, the printer prints immediately every job ! So I wonder if there is a way to awake the printer at boot time ? I hace tried "hp-probe -bnet" without success !
