Andy,
No, it does not. Rasterization must be done on the host side. See
hplip.sf.net. The code that controls this printer is
under hplip.1.x.x/prnt/hpijs/ljjetready.cpp.
Is there any particular reason you do not use the printing subsystem?

Hi there

 

We currently use a manufacturing system called EB2 which resides on Red
Hat Linux servers. When we send print jobs from this system to this
printer it cannot format the print jobs correctly. We use PCL scripting
to do this. Does the HP3600 not support PCL commands? Thanks for your
help.
