Good Day Jack I did some testing around your issue here.
I tested with a default FC6, USB to a Photosmart 2575, and HPLIP 1.7.2. Using the following Apps... 1. Firefox - seemed to work as expected. Set reverse order in HPLIP, and FF prints pages n through 1. Default settings print 1 through n. 2. OpenOffice - confirmed what you see. However, there is a check box in the OpenOffice print dialog for reverse order. Checking that does reverse the print order n through 1. 3 gedit - also confirmed what you see. gedit also does not have any sort of mechanism to change the reverse order. What we believe is happening are that these apps are not CUPS aware. By default they are probably setting the page order to 1 through n instead of going with the CUPS default settings. So there is an issue, however, we think this is with the applications implementation. I hope this helps... jh Jack Gillis wrote: > I have a Photosmart 2570 installed on a USB port under FC6.
