Don,

Sorry for the late reply; I was in Las Vegas!

I'm using openSUSE 10.2

It turns out I had a version conflict. I guess the older version of HPLIP was
installed in different area than the newer version. Once I cleaned up the older
version, my printer seems to be working. I was even able to print all the jobs
I had in the queue. Once strange thing though, "hp-info" still doesn't work.
Here's the output in debug mode.

%hp-info -g

HP Linux Imaging and Printing System (ver. 1.7.2)
Device Information Utility ver. 3.4

hp-info[4947]: debug: (xmit) Sending data on channel (3)
hp-info[4947]: debug:
'msg=probedevicesfiltered\nfilter=none\nbus=cups,par,usb\nformat=cups\ntimeout=5\nttl=4\n'
hp-info[4947]: debug: Exception: 99 (Unknown internal error)
error: Error occured during interactive mode. Exiting.

Any thoughts!

Thanks,
Tim

What distro is this? What's strange is that hp-check thought that snmp was in
fact installed. Could you please post the output of 'hp-check -g'?

Thanks,

Don
