Can you try disabling SE Linux and see if that resolves this?
System > Admin > Security > SELInux > disable.
then restart hplip.

I see same error after trying hp-toolbox
Really need some help. I'm not alone. jsquareg on FeforaForum has same
issue with a HP PhotoSmart.
I know we can get this fixed, it's just frustrating for a Linux newbie who
isn't quite up to speed yet at tinkering under the hood.
Appreciate any support on your site also.
