What version of HPLIP are you running? This seems to be an older version..

To remove HPLIP run make uninstall from the source directory. (ie
hplip-1.7.3 if you are running 1.7.3.)

also run: rm -rf /usr/share/hplip

This removes help. However you may want to consider installing the latest
version of HPLIP. Also keep in mind with Fedora Core you need to disable
SELinux for hplip to work.

Hi,
Trying to setup a HP PSC_2355 on Fedora 4.

Installing HPLIP. Removing hpoj.
NOTHING work.

Before installing HPLIP I can print with cups and hpoj. But scanning
doesn't work.
After installing HPLIP :
hp-check says everything is ok, BUT NOTHING WORK,
        no print, no scan !!!

output of hp-check :

PSC_2350
--------
Device URI: hp:/usb/PSC_2350_series?serial=MY629F42GHKJ
Installed in HPLIP? Yes
PPD: /etc/cups/ppd/PSC_2350.ppd
PPD Description: HP PSC 2350 Foomatic/hpijs (recommended)
Printer status: printer PSC_2350 is idle. enabled since Jan 01 00:00

----------------------
| SANE CONFIGURATION |
----------------------
'hpaio' in '/etc/sane.d/dll.conf'...
OK, found. SANE backend 'hpaio' is properly set up.

Checking output of 'scanimage -L'...
device `hpaio:/usb/PSC_2350_series?serial=MY629F42GHKJ' is a
Hewlett-Packard PSC_2350_series all-in-one

When running hp-toolbox in a terminal I got :

error: Error attempting to read r-value (1).
error: Channel write error

So now, I would like to REMOVE HPLIP from my system.
How to do that ?

Thanks for help.
