Hello, I have pasted the output of hp-levels below. When I ran hp-levels (at about 06/04/07 10:34:43), I had a new tri-colour cartridge in the printer, and I had an empty black cartridge in the printer.
I think the black cartridge is empty because no black ink is printed when I try to print something that has black content. I think the colour cartridge ink level is being reported correctly. (I think the reason why it was reported as 0% earlier was because although I had red ink left in the tri-colour cartridge, I didn't have any blue nor yellow ink left. I have since then changed the tri-colour cartridge.) So in summary, I think the black ink level is inaccurate. My estimate of the actual ink level is 0%, but the reported ink level is 58%. --- Output of hp-levels --- HP Linux Imaging and Printing System (ver. 1.6.9) Device Information Utility ver. 3.4 Copyright (c) 2003-6 Hewlett-Packard Development Company, LP This software comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY.
