Thank you Johannes for your assistance.

It seems the DJ4100 print driver is not compatible with the DJ4168 printer.
The Win2K spooler always gets stuck after sending 64Kb of data to the
printer. The only way to unfreeze it is to cancel the document in Windows
and then power-cycle the printer. I'm thinking the data sent to the printer
is not what the printer is expecting. Printing from both Win2K computers
works fine.

I installed CUPS so is the print driver from CUPS or is it part of HP-IJS?

This certainly sounds like a print driver issue since the print job from
Linux is getting all the way to the printer.

Can someone point me in a direction to get more troubleshooting done?
