What language are you installing this on? Could be that your locale wasn't
configured during the install? Although I'm not sure how to configure it on
archlinux--you may want to check the archlinux docs. On ubuntu one would
run; dpkg-reconfigure locales. The error '/etc/hp/hplip.conf not found or
not readable.' shouldn't stop the install per se. Seems to be a how the
system is configured.
