Simply ignore YaST and rely on "hp-setup"/"hp-toolbox"/...

YaST and HPLIP are not very well synchronized, see
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=184798
Plain printer setup should work o.k. but don't expect anything
regarding the various kind of all-in-one devices (in particular
if there is a faxing unit included).

In particular YaST in openSUSE 10.2 and the newest HPLIP from
http://software.opensuse.org/download/home:/jsmeix/
