I have installed hplip-2.7.6 successfully on my RedHat ES 4.5 system; hp-check
(output attached) and hp-setup run okay, with only a warning about PyQt (which
doesn't seem to be an issue), and ReportLab (which is a warning only and not a
concern).
I am trying to get outbound faxing going from the command line using the HP
G85xi. I note that the faxing capability is not checked in the support grid as
available yet for this machine, but I wonder if there may be some workaround,
since what I want is command line and not full GUI support for faxing. I have
tried hp-sendfax, but have gotten the following error:
