I wish it were that simple. The group 'scanner' does not exist. As
I've previously mentioned, 'root' can detect the scanner via
'scanimage -L' without the existence of 'scanner' group.

For the fun of it, I created the group and added both myself and root
to the group, but that didn't help either.
